Face Lift Patient #7

This 56-year-old patient presented to Dr. Sweis with complaints of generalized aging but was particularly bothered by her jowls and neck. She wanted to look rejuvenated and youthful without looking different or unnatural. Upon physical examination, she was found to have thin tissues, jowls, and excess tissue along her neck. This patient underwent a SMAS (superficial musculo aponeurotic system) facelift with a neck lift. This procedure addresses the deeper tissues beneath the skin (SMAS), raising them to a more youthful position and allows a natural re-draping of the skin. Her postoperative photos are shown 2 months following surgery.
