Face Lift Patient #6

This 64 year old patient from the Chicago area presented to Dr. Sweis complaining of overall facial aging. She was particularly bothered by her jowls and her neck. She was very concerned about the possibility of looking over-done and requested a very natural result that would allow her to look refreshed and more youthful. Upon physical examination, she was found to have thin tissues, jowls, and excess tissue along her neck. This patient underwent a SMAS (superficial musculo aponeurotic system) facelift with a neck lift, and neck liposuction. This procedure addresses the tissues beneath the skin, raising them to a more youthful position and allows a natural re-draping of the skin. She also underwent a bilateral ear lobe reduction. Her postoperative photos are 5 months following surgery.
