Face Lift Patient #4

This beautiful 65 year old woman from Chicago presented to Dr. Sweis complaining of overall facial aging. She was particularly bothered by her jowls and her neck. She was very concerned about the possibility of looking over-done and requested a very natural result that would allow her to look refreshed and more youthful. She has enjoyed the sun for much of her life. This contributed to the changes seen with aging. She was found to have thin tissues, jowls, and excess tissue along her neck. The patient underwent a SMAS (superficial musculo aponeurotic system) facelift with a neck lift. This procedure addresses the tissues beneath the skin, raising them to a more youthful position and allows a natural re-draping of the skin. Her postoperative photos are 3 months following surgery.
