Eye Lid Lift Patient #9

This is a 53 year old patient from Illinois who presented to Dr. Sweis complaining of having excess skin along the upper eyelids. She has beautiful eyes and she felt that they seemed smaller than at her younger stage of life. She underwent a bilateral upper blepharoplasty with removal of the extra skin, a strip of the muscle and a small amount of the excess fat. This procedure was performed under local anesthesia in our Northbrook office. The patient was fully awake and tolerated the surgery very well. Her photos are shown before surgery and 6 months after the bilateral upper blepharoplasty.
