This is a 58-year-old woman from Chicago who presented with complaining of having lost significant breast volume. Upon physical examination, she was found to be slightly ptotic with the nipple-areola being along the lower aspect of the breast. The recommended option for this patient was placing implants in the submuscular (below the chest muscle) position with a breast lift (mastopexy).

However, the patient wished to avoid the scars associated with a breast lift. She and Dr. Sweis elected to proceed with sub-glandular (above the chest muscle) placement of Allergan Natrelle moderate profile round smooth 371 cc silicone implants style 15 using the inframammary crease incision. The photos were taken six weeks following breast augmentation.
